Karen Wilkins, President and CEO
Karen Wilkins graduated with distinction from the University of
Virginia, and then attended Tulane Law School in her hometown of New
Orleans. She became a partner in Adams and Reese, a law firm with
regional offices throughout the South, where she worked for 11
years. In 1995, Karen married an interventional cardiologist and
they moved to Hattiesburg, MS, where her husband built a successful
cardiology practice. After 12 years of observing her husband treat
the end effects of cardiovascular disease (CVD) day in and day out,
she became increasingly interested in the idea of prevention. This
interest compelled her to establish a company that allows
health-conscious individuals to obtain high-quality, safe and
affordable diagnostic screening tests to detect CVD at an early or
asymptomatic stage.
